About the Prints

It should go without saying that the copyright image does not appear on the actual print, but I've found that things that should go without saying are usually best said. So - the copyright image does not appear on the print.

The prints on this site are all made by the artist, who handsigns each one. They are made using a Canon printer with Kodak or Canon paper and Canon ChromaLife 100 inks. The Chromalife inks will last without fading when displayed in a frame as long as not exposed to direct sunlight.

Tips for longer lasting prints

• Avoid high intensity lighting and direct sunlight.
• Use glass-filtered frames, with mats to prevent the glass from touching the print directly.
• Store your prints in a cool and dry environment. ie. Not the bathroom or kitchen.
• Use archival-quality photo albums or storage materials.
• Do not wash!

The mat board

Although you can purchase the prints unmatted, please do take care that they do not touch the glass in a frame as this can lower the life expectency of the print. The mat boards are professional boards, acid free and come with a foamcore backing board and, together with your print, are placed in an acid free fitted plastic bag.

All the prints are 8" x 10" (at the moment, this may change in the future depending on demand) and the mounted ones are sized to fit an 11" x 14" frame - a standard size that is easy to buy ready made.

Postage

I post as soon as possible after an order has been placed and paid for, usually within 48 hours. If, for whatever reason, I can't get to the post office, I will email you and let you know.

Postage is a flat rate of $5 per print world wide. If you purchase 5 prints you can get a substantial discount on postage - please do not use the paypal check out, but email me eliza@elizasart.com for a quote.
